Lite Agent — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-06 · Effective: 2026-06-06
Lite Agent ("the extension") is a Chrome/Edge browser extension. This
policy explains what data the extension handles, where it goes, and how
to delete it. The short version: everything stays on your device unless
you explicitly turn on the optional Drive sync feature.
1. Data the extension handles
- Settings — your OpenRouter connection status, your
Allowed-domains list, UI preferences. Stored locally in
chrome.storage under the extension's origin.
- Chat history — messages you send and the model's replies.
Stored locally in IndexedDB under the extension's origin. Sent to
the LLM provider you are connected to, in order to generate a response.
- Page content — only the text/screenshot the LLM explicitly
requests via its tools, and only on a page whose host matches an
entry in your Allowed domains list. Sent to your LLM provider to
fulfill the request.
- Memory records — facts the agent saves at your request
(e.g. "user prefers dark mode"). Stored locally in IndexedDB.
Sent to the LLM provider only as part of a prompt when the agent
retrieves them.
- OAuth tokens — issued by OpenRouter (and, optionally, by
Google) and held by Chrome's identity subsystem. The extension
never sees your password.
2. Where data is sent
- OpenRouter (your chosen LLM provider). The extension sends
your messages, retrieved memories, and any tool outputs (page
snapshot, screenshot, etc.) that the model needs to answer.
OpenRouter's own privacy practices apply to that data — see
openrouter.ai/privacy.
- Google APIs — only if you turn on Drive sync. The extension
writes one file to your Google Drive App Data folder and
reads it back on your other devices. It does not access any other
Drive files.
- The developer receives nothing. There is no analytics,
telemetry, or backend operated by the extension's author.
3. Data the extension does not collect
- No browsing history, no URLs, no page content from sites not in
your Allowed domains list.
- No personal identifiers, no advertising IDs, no fingerprinting.
- No sales, sharing with third parties, or transfer of data to
advertisers, data brokers, or affiliates.
4. Children
The extension is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly
collect data from children.
5. Security
The Drive sync file is held in your private Google Drive App Data folder
and is removed when you uninstall the extension or revoke its access.
Local storage is scoped to the extension's origin and is removed
automatically when you uninstall the extension.
Note: the sync file is end-to-end encrypted.
6. Your choices and how to delete your data
- Settings panel — open the side panel toolbar icon and
use Settings to clear chat, clear all memory, revoke the
OpenRouter connection, or revoke Google Drive access.
- Uninstall the extension — removes all locally stored
data (settings, chat history, memories).
- Delete the Drive sync file — revoke the extension's
access at
myaccount.google.com/permissions.
This removes the extension's ability to read or write its App Data
file; the file itself can be removed from your Drive App Data folder
if it remains.
- Email request — for anything not covered above, contact
cheeikhseck@gmail.com
and the data will be deleted within 30 days. (In practice the
extension has no server, so there is nothing server-side to delete
— this clause exists to satisfy the "contact for deletion"
requirement.)
7. Changes to this policy
Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date
above. Continued use of the extension after a change constitutes
acceptance.
