Lite Agent — Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-08-10 · Effective: 2026-08-10

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lite Agent browser extension ("the extension") and its related website (liteagent.cloud). By installing, using, or purchasing Lite Agent, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the extension.

1. License

Lite Agent is sold as a one-time purchase that grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the extension on your own devices. The license covers all features and future updates released while the extension is offered. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or reverse-engineer the extension.

2. Your account

The extension connects to third-party services you choose (such as OpenRouter) using credentials issued to you by those services. You are responsible for keeping those credentials secure and for all activity carried out through your accounts. Use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms of service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Lite Agent to:

You are solely responsible for the actions you instruct the agent to take and for their consequences.

4. AI output and limitations

Lite Agent relies on third-party AI models, which can make mistakes, produce inaccurate or incomplete output, or take unexpected actions. AI-generated content is provided "as is" and you should review it before relying on it, especially for anything sensitive or legally binding. You remain responsible for reviewing and approving all automated actions before they are finalized.

5. Payment and refunds

The one-time purchase price is charged once, as displayed at the time of purchase, and does not include the cost of AI model usage, which is billed to you separately by your chosen provider (e.g. OpenRouter). Payments are processed by PayPal; refunds are subject to the refund policies of PayPal and the seller.

6. No warranty

The extension is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Lite Agent developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the extension — including losses caused by automated actions the agent performs on your behalf.

8. Third-party services

Lite Agent integrates with third-party services (including AI model providers like OpenRouter). We are not responsible for the behavior, availability, or pricing of those services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the extension at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 4, 6, 7, and 8 — will survive.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the extension after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
